If your grandmother never made one of these, it's because no one told her about it. This is easy, quick, and delcious. It's so good, you don't need frosting, but there'd be a revolt if I didn't use chocolate frosting.
Mix flour and sugar together. Add oil, vanilla, and eggs. Mix until thoroughly blended.
Using a cast iron skillet, cut wax paper to fit the bottom of skillet. Oil the skillet and place the wax paper on the bottom. Turn over the wax paper and sprinkle with flour. Add the batter.
This cake is best when it is served warm. |
