Soften yeast and dissolve sugar in water add cooled milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Add egg, and beat well.
Add flour to make a soft dough. Let stand 10 min.
Knead on lightly floured board until light and elastic.
Place in greased bowl. Cover in refrigerator.
Let rise about 12 hours.
Shape rolls. Let rise for 2 hours.
Bake at 400-425 degress for 20 minutes.
